The Russian River looks perfect on a map - one hour away, a beautiful river valley filled with Redwoods. Alas, our recent trip over the New Year confirmed my worst fears. The river is still Play on the River - There is no better way to experience the beauty of the Russian River than to take a trip down it. There are a number of easy drop/pickup locations.
